Retrospect Counseling is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Ash Flat Office. Retrospect Counseling provides mental health counseling services in the Paragould/Jonesboro area. Our goal is to provide high quality, cost effective mental health services in a friendly, professional manner.
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for overall front office activities including managing the reception area. This position also provides secretarial and administrative support for therapist and prescribers including obtaining referrals, verifying insurance and scheduling clients in a timely manner.
Details:
- Represents Retrospect Counseling in person, over the telephone and in the community in a friendly, professional manner.
- Collects deductibles and co-pays, issues receipts when requested.
- Obtains accurate and complete referrals in a timely manner.
- Verifies insurance and assists clients as needed, consults referrals with Clinic Supervisor and schedules clients in a timely manner.
- Documents all client contact information in EHR.
- Assists with telehealth communications for clients at home and within clinic.
- Tracks and obtain supplies for the clinic weekly.
- Checks all telephone messages upon arrival/prior to leaving.
- Makes sure lobby is presentable for next day appointments.
- Other duties as assigned by Clinic Supervisor.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One to two years of experience in a related field is required.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Working knowledge of office equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
