RETTEW has an immediate opening for a full-time, mid-level experienced geophysicist based in Eastern PA with regular travel throughout the mid-Atlantic region and occasional travel further afield. The work is a mixture of engineering, environmental, and archaeological projects. The ideal candidate should be able to conduct field surveys using EM, MAG, microgravity, seismic refraction, reflection, and MASW, GPR, Electrical Methods (ERI, SP, IEEE), and utility mapping. Borehole logging experience would be a plus. Software capabilities should include all standard geophysical packages associated with the above-listed techniques, and Surfer, Grapher, and Excel. AutoCAD experience would be a plus. The position will be a mixture of fieldwork and data processing / report writing, as well as client interaction and management. The ideal candidate should be able to mentor / train less-experienced staff as needed. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing geophysical projects and leading cross-functional teams.

Technical Responsibilities
- Uses prescribed methods to perform specific and limited portions of a broader assignment
- Collects, processes, and interprets geophysical data using advanced techniques and equipment.
- Applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjusts and correlates data, and recognizes discrepancies in results
- Performs research, conducts investigations (office and field), and writes reports and opinions
