Job Responsibilities
Familiarity with DCIM (cable mgmt. virtual tools) and ticketing tools. (ServiceNow preferable).
bility to maintain correspondence with customers regarding installation / project status.
Scheduling :
Please note that the work shift will vary, it will probably start 8am-5pm for training and gradually move to off shift / afterhours work (i.e., 2nd or 3rd or weekend shifts or night maintenances as needed). This will be a 40-hour week.
Fieldwork :
bility to install complete copper and fiber (Patching and infrastructure) circuits.
bility to use and read Fluke instruments.
bility to conduct and maintain inventory levels.
bility to work with and install pre-terminated fiber solutions.
level of computer knowledge a plus. Ability to identify and swap server components.
Familiarity with racking and stacking equipment (Routers / switches / servers).
Familiar with terminations of 33, 66, 110 blocks up to 300 pair cable.
Education
HS Diploma and / or equivalent degree in Trade or 5 years' experience
