As we grow and invest in modernizing our operations, we're looking for a hands-on IT Manager to oversee daily operations and service delivery across our multi-site custom electric motor manufacturing plants. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, leading a small team, and making a direct impact on a company's IT environment.
Position Overview:
The IT Manager will lead and support day-to-day IT operations across all Reuland locations. This includes managing service desk operations, overseeing asset and software licensing management, standardizing hardware, and improving service delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Service System Implementation
- Lead the selection, configuration, and rollout of a Helpdesk or IT service management system.
- Develop ticketing workflows, reporting dashboards, and user guidelines.
- Train staff and end-users on the new platform and monitor adoption.
Helpdesk & Service Delivery
- Establish service delivery best practices including incident and request management.
- Define and enforce service level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop and maintain onboarding and offboarding workflows.
Software Licensing
- Oversee enterprise software licensing, compliance, and renewals.
- Maintain documentation of all licensing, usage, and vendor agreements.
Vendor & Procurement Management
- Establish CDW/Dell Inc. as primary hardware vendors.
- Integrate procurement processes with the Helpdesk system and internal workflows.
Asset Management
- Standardize hardware across all locations.
- Manage patching, PC imaging, and hardware lifecycle processes.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory of all IT assets.
Infrastructure Support
- Support IT systems across both office and manufacturing environments.
- Assist in maintaining network, security, and telephone systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience implementing or managing a Helpdesk/service management platform.
- At least 7 years of experience in IT Operations.
- Prior experience supervising IT personnel is preferred.
