Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $0 - $0.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.

About The Role
As an intern, you will support our Human Resources team in various capacities. This role will provide you with hands-on experience, allowing you to develop a broad skill set and contribute to impactful projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the recruitment process, including posting jobs, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and assisting with the organization and maintenance of candidate data.
- Helping to coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and onboarding processes.
- Assisting with the preparation of HR-related documents.
- Supporting the HR team with various administrative tasks.
- Participating in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Assisting with employee engagement initiatives.
- Conducting research on HR best practices and staying updated on labor laws and regulations.
You’re a fit for the role of Human Resources Intern if you are/have:
- Current rising junior or senior in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program, majoring in HR, Psychology, Business, or a similar field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Basic knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance.
