Assistant, Catering - Kane County Concessions

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of catered events in suites, group areas, and party decks.
• Prepare and organize food and beverage items for timely delivery and presentation.
• Ensure all hospitality spaces are clean, stocked, and visually appealing before guest arrival.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Restock supplies throughout events as needed and monitor food quality and temperatures
• Clear tables and refresh service areas during and after events.
• Work closely with the Catering Manager and other team members to ensure smooth service.
• Communicate effectively about order updates, special requests, or service issues.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain clean workspaces, serving equipment, and catering storage areas.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous catering, concessions, or hospitality experience preferred (but not required).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to work in extreme outdoor weather conditions to include heat, cold and rain.
• Must be able to lift, pull, push and/or lift weight greater than 50 lbs.

• Required to work flexible schedule, including but not limited to days, nights, weekends and holidays.
