ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Maintain a clean, well-organized environment.
- Schedule all team store associates and verify/approve hours.
- Manage inventory, including deliveries, requisitions, and a monthly physical inventory count.
- Work with a full time staff member with any questions or concerns and to coordinate group souvenir orders.
- Prepare and maintain employment records. Ensure adequate staffing levels are met during games and special events.
- Develop and implement all aspects of merchandising, product placement, and visual presentation throughout the ballpark. Work with VP, Marketing to ensure consistency in brand standards across all retail locations.
- Coordinate and manage all facets of inventory control including purchasing, receiving, warehousing, and distribution. Establish and enforce procedures for the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods. Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Oversee all point-of-sale equipment, transactions, and reporting. Ensure proper operation of all registers and related equipment. Monitor accuracy of cash handling procedures.
- Develop annual budget and financial forecasts for the department. Analyze monthly operating statements and take corrective action as necessary.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum one year of experience working in a customer service oriented environment required.
- Prior experience working in professional sports highly preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and written.
- Ability to multitask while being attentive to detail and possessing strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to lift, pull, push and/or carry 50 pounds as necessary.
- Initiative and has a hardworking, positive attitude.
- Ability to stand, sit and walk for up to 6-8 hours.
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions to include extreme heat cold and rain.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including but not limited to days, nights, weekends and holidays.
