ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Attend pre-game meetings to review game scripts, understand promotional events, and coordinate with the scoreboard operator and other staff.
Official voice of the Kane County Cougars.
Serves as the verbal communication between the game officials and spectators.
Provide clear, enthusiastic, and engaging commentary, including player.
introductions, goals, penalties, and other game-related information.
All other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Exhibits self-motivation and confidence.
Demonstrate ability to communicate verbally.
Strong understanding of Baseball preferred.
Availability on nights, weekends, and potentially holidays.
Ability to continuously stand and walk for 2-3 hours throughout the youth ballpark, including but not limited to, stairs and ramps.
Ability to work outside for extended periods of time in inclement weather including but not limited to hot, cold and rain.
Ability to perform under pressure.
