We are seeking a Plant Manager with a strong background in building or rebuilding capital equipment, ideally within the plastics industry. This role requires a hands-on leader who can oversee all aspects of the operation, from budgeting and production management to safety and continuous improvement initiatives. As the top leader on-site, you will have the autonomy to shape the plant’s operations and drive its growth.
- Oversee all plant operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Develop and manage the plant budget, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Lead and train supervisors, ensuring they effectively manage and develop their teams.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized facility.
- Champion safety protocols, including LOTO and OSHA compliance, and establish a safety committee.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Foster a team-oriented leadership style, motivating employees to achieve production and growth targets.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in manufacturing or rebuilding capital equipment with components such as pumps, drives, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, HMIs, and sensors.
- Strong preference for experience in plastics processing equipment.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills with a collaborative, team-based approach.
- Ability to take ownership of the operation and run it like your own business.
