Position Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Tax Accountant to join the team. This role involves leading and managing tax projects ensuring compliance with tax laws and providing strategic financial insights for clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting and a proven track record in tax preparation and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage and lead diverse tax projects for individual and business clients ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare and review complex tax returns with a focus on strategic tax planning and projections.
Conduct indepth tax research and provide solutions for tax inquiries and regulatory changes.
Oversee tax compliance efforts ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and guidelines.
Supervise financial reporting accounting processes and internal controls for clients.
Mentor and develop junior team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Collaborate with firm leadership on client growth strategies and process improvements.
Qualifications :
CPA certification required.
Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax returns for at least three consecutive tax seasons.
Proficient knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Strong analytical skills with a detailoriented approach to problemsolving.
Experience with tax compliance risk assessment and internal controls.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
