Position Overview:

The Account Supervisor will lead client accounts and oversee the execution of marketing and communications strategies, managing an Account Executive. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, proactive client management, and team development to deliver exceptional results for foodservice supplier clients. This individual will focus on driving account growth, developing client relationships, nurturing team talent, and advancing Revelry Agency’s mission of enabling brands to win in the foodservice channel. This individual will also play a key role in the development and execution of integrated digital marketing strategies, utilizing various digital channels to enhance client campaigns and drive measurable results.


Key Responsibilities:


Client Leadership:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, establishing trusted relationships, and ensuring the development and execution of long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and execute annual plans, including strategic roadmaps, budgets, and statements of work.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of client programs, regularly reporting on ROI and optimization opportunities.
  • Drive communication strategies that align with client objectives and industry best practices.
  • Attend and lead all client meetings, setting agendas, and directing discussions.
  • Lead digital marketing strategy development, ensuring alignment with overall client goals, and integrating across paid, owned, and earned channels.


Account Growth:

  • Take ownership of the growth strategy for key accounts, developing long-term client retention plans and identifying new revenue opportunities through strategic upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Identify and address unmet client needs through innovative solutions and ideas.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and present tailored proposals.
  • Drive year-over-year revenue growth by identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Deliver measurable results by analyzing campaign performance data and implementing improvements to achieve client KPIs and business goals.
  • Utilize digital marketing tactics, including SEO, social media, email marketing, and content strategies, to uncover new growth opportunities for clients and optimize campaign effectiveness.


Team Management and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and empower an Account Executive and interns, guiding them in achieving client goals and professional growth while ensuring they deliver high-quality work that aligns with client and agency objectives.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one and team meetings to ensure alignment and performance.
  • Lead training programs to enhance team skills and capabilities.
  • Provide constructive feedback and annual performance evaluations.


Project Oversight:

  • Oversee client-approved plans, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality work.
  • Monitor and manage team workflow, reallocating resources as needed.
  • Maintain accountability for deliverables that meet or exceed agency standards
  • Lead the creation and management of scopes of work and budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client expectations.


Strategic Contributions:

  • Align client strategies with broader agency goals and initiatives.
  • Contribute to new business opportunities, including pitches and proposals.
  • Regularly assess program performance against client objectives, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and innovations to inform client strategies.
  • Contribute to the creation of digital-first strategies and help clients enhance their digital presence through integrated marketing tactics and data-driven insights.

 


Required Skills and Qualifications:


Experience:

5-7 years in account management or client services in marketing and communications, with a demonstrated ability to lead and grow client accounts and teams.


Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.


Location: Remote or/in office--this position is not location contingent. We have a small office in Ketchum ID—this is where direct manager is based. Preferred in a location where we do industry business (Portland, OR or Chicago, IL or Ketchum, ID) or would prefer to have a person working remote in a state where we already do business—CT, MA, ID, IL, SD, OR, WA. 


Skills:

  • Industry Knowledge: Required professional experience in foodservice channel marketing and/or an agency account management role with foodservice clients. 
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of mentoring and managing teams, particularly in a fast-paced marketing agency environment.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to create and execute impactful client strategies.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal skills.
  • Organization: Proficiency in project management and multitasking.
  • Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint) and Basecamp.
  • Digital Marketing: Expertise in digital marketing strategy, including planning, execution, and optimization across multiple platforms (e.g., SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing). Familiarity with digital marketing analytics and tools for performance measurement.

  • Revenue: Lead the strategic growth of accounts, ensuring a 10-15% annual growth rate in revenue from assigned clients.


Project Management:

  • Timeliness: Ensure 95% of team-managed projects and deliverables are completed on or ahead of schedule.
  • Budget Accuracy: Maintain scopes of work and budgets within 3% of approved costs, ensuring team accountability.
  • Status Reports: Oversee the submission of clear and accurate project updates to clients and internal teams, ensuring 100% compliance with reporting timelines.


Client Program Performance:

  • KPI Monitoring: Ensure all client programs have clearly defined KPIs and are monitored regularly, with 95% achieving or exceeding their goals.
  • ROI Optimization: Lead quarterly evaluations of client programs, identifying and implementing strategies to optimize ROI for at least two key clients annually.
  • Digital Success: Ensure digital campaigns (SEO, social media, paid media) meet or exceed KPIs, contributing to at least 10-15% growth in digital-driven revenue from assigned clients.


Client Relations:

  • Client Satisfaction: Achieve a 95% or higher positive feedback rate on client satisfaction surveys for accounts under management.
  • Responsiveness: Respond to 100% of high-priority client inquiries within 24 hours and ensure team response rates meet established benchmarks.


Team Leadership & Development:

  • Team Mentorship: Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports, and foster the professional development of team members, ensuring 100% participation in development programs and positive feedback on performance reviews.
  • Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment by ensuring team participation in 95% of scheduled meetings and brainstorming sessions, while contributing strategic ideas monthly.


Strategic Contributions:

  • Campaign Success: Lead the development and execution of strategic campaigns, with 100% alignment to client objectives and measurable success within six months of execution.
  • Innovation: Propose and implement at least three innovative client strategies or process improvements annually to enhance program outcomes.


Professional Growth:

  • Learning Goals: Complete at least one leadership or industry-specific professional development course annually.
