We are seeking a Retention Marketing Specialist to join our Outdoor Performance platform which consists of Bushnell, Blackhawk, Camp Chef, Primos, Simms Fishing, Stone Glacier, and additional outdoor accessory brands. As the Retention Marketing Specialist, you will execute brands’ retention marketing channels including, but not limited to, email marketing, SMS, loyalty, and review collection.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Salesforce, Klaviyo or similar ESP. We are looking for someone who can push the retention channels forward with email best practices, creative examples, and identifying revenue-driving opportunities to grow brand equity and revenue value of the email channel.
This position reports to the Retention Marketing Manager and is based out of our Bozeman, MT office.

Pay Range
Annual Salary: $50,000.00 - $64,000.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.

As the Retention Marketing Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Build, test, and QA email, push, and journey-based communication programs across active email and SMS audiences, scaling across multiple segments and markets.
- Write creative briefs, review assets, and ensure on-brand communication across assets.
- Support Retention Marketing Manager in developing and executing communication strategies across Email and SMS channels for various brands.
- Subject matter expert for retention channel performance, reporting, and opportunities for success.
- Launch channel growth tactics that drive lifetime value, repeat purchase, and new customer growth through digital campaign touchpoints.
- Collaborate with brand marketing leaders and cross-channel partners to align on campaign strategies that support product launches, seasonal collections, and key campaigns to launch best-in-class, industry-leading digital campaigns.
- Work cross-functionally on omnichannel initiatives to reach users throughout the marketing funnel based on customer preferences and behavior.
- Manage automated digital journeys that drive lead conversion, customer retention, and user engagement.
- Utilize key customer segments to drive personalized messaging, product recommendations, and timely relevant communication.
- Conduct weekly and monthly analysis of owned channels and the CDP to provide KPI centric reporting on progress/opportunities within retention marketing.
- Leverage research, insights, and campaign results to make data-driven decisions, including identifying potential profitable new retention channels.
- Assist, as needed, with broader digital marketing initiatives that help drive growth for the site and brands overall.
- 1 years of email marketing experience
- Preferred experience with Klaviyo, Salesforce, or similar ESP
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related area of study.
- Strong skill set in analyzing, reporting, and driving insights from Retention Marketing and ecommerce data
- Passion for digital marketing funnels and omnichannel strategy
- A self-starter with a positive attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A natural curiosity to seek out solutions and identify opportunities.
- Ability to work with a fast-moving and always-learning team.
- Understand the big picture of ecommerce contribution to the brand.
