THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Lead Generation Representative (LDR) to join our sales team. The LDR is a vital part of the sales team and is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads to build a robust sales pipeline. This role involves conducting initial outreach and understanding customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent communication skills, and the drive to grow within a fast-paced B2B environment.

You’ll work in our Tampa office, reporting to the Sales Account Executive. The LDR plays a critical role in the company's growth by expanding the pipeline of potential clients and collaborating closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including online research, social media, industry events, and inbound marketing campaigns.
- Follow up on leads generated (MQL & inbound) to determine if they are potential sales opportunities.
- Research target accounts, build contact lists, and map companies to RMS solutions.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products/services.
- Conduct initial outreach to prospects via phone, email, and social media to generate interest and qualify leads.
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and engage in conversations to understand the prospect’s needs.
- Understand customer pain points and technical requirements to correlate business value with customer needs.
- Use written reports and verbal presentations to generate interest in products or services, demonstrating how they address customer needs.
- Track and manage leads using CRM software, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions.
- Monitor key metrics such as lead conversion rates, appointment setting, and pipeline progression.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads.
- Provide feedback and insights to the sales team on the quality of leads and potential improvements to the lead generation process.
- Colloborate with sales and marketing on demand generation and sales campaigns
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with prospects
- Previous experience with lead generation, sales, or similar role preferably in B2B
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead generation tools
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of the industry and market trends is a plus.
- Proactive, results-oriented approach with a passion for sales and business development
