What you will be doing
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere of for guests
- Facilitate a team environment to ensure optimum guest service
- Oversee daily operations of the bar; including Opening and Closing the bar, stocking supplies, Inventory, batching drinks, handling customer inquiries and complaints. Enforcing Safety and Security protocols.
- Supervisory duties include interviewing, hiring, training employees, scheduling, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; planning, assigning, directing work, and addressing complaints
Requirements
Requirements include basic reading, writing and Food & Beverage experience preferred. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently standing up and moving about the work area, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping and kneeling, frequently working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment.
Shift: Mon-Sun 3p-1a
Skills &Experience
- Previous Food and Beverage Management or Supervisory experience preferred
- Good verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills to provide overall customer satisfaction
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods
- Must have extensive knowledge of food and beverage etiquette, customer relations and service standards
- Working knowledge of standard drink recipes
- Working knowledge of spirits, wine and beer
- Knowledge of daily maintenance and cleaning of venue
- Must have knowledge and proficiency with current point of sale system and cash handling reports
