Auditor Administrator

Job Profile: RLG is a provider of consultancy services for extended producer responsibility on a global scale. In North America, the data services and environmental compliance team works with clients (producers) to deliver: EPR assessments of their legal obligations province by province, data management and reporting services, audit support, and technology product offerings such as our environmental compliance software. This role would be pivotal in ensuring RLG is well-positioned to bring environmental compliance and knowledge to our client base.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vendor Auditor to join our team. This role will play a key role in ensuring compliance with EHS, Industry standards, Client requirements, and legal requirements as well as assisting in ensuring compliance with the ISO 14001 and 9001 Management Systems Internally. This role will conduct audits, identify areas of improvement, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to established policies and procedures.

Job Accountabilities :

Auditing:

• Auditing our vendors to ensure they comply with Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements as well as any other requirements (electronics recycling and refurbishment for example) as specified by our customers, our corporate guidelines, and legal jurisdictions.
• Conducts audits at vendor locations on-site or desktop audits as required.
• Performs audit work, including plan preparation, work papers review, findings summary, and associated reports.
• Manages supplier audits and corrective action plans to closure.
• Assists in keeping the NA Audits SharePoint updated.
• Assists with Audits program documentation.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and verify their implementation.
• Assist in maintaining and updating ISO-related documentation and records.
• Guide employees on ISO 14001 and 9001 standards and best practices.
• Support external audits and certification processes.
• Stay updated on changes to EHS regulations, Industry standards, client standards, and ISO standards changes and communicate their impact to the organization.
• Ability to internally network and develop relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Experience :

• A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental management, in performing internal or external audits, preferably expert in the North American region.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships to work effectively with vendors.
• Ability to develop and implement audit plans and schedules.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in both English and Spanish.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation development skills, with the ability to understand, synthesize, and communicate complex information in an appropriate tone or voice to various internal stakeholders
• Verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to draft presentations and present to external clients
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
• Motivated and confident self-starter with the ability to accomplish goals and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
• Highly organized, efficient, and accurate.
• Highly collaborative and able to manage relationships with local and international teams within a cross-functional team structure
• Competent when working independently, and within teams
• Bachelor's degree in Sustainability or Environmental Science, Data Management or Analytics, Business Administration or Marketing Other Related Fields.
