Revida Water is seeking a Fabrication & Production Specialist to play a key role in factory operations, system fabrication, and inventory management. This hands-on role requires plumbing, basic metalwork, and mechanical assembly experience, as well as the ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings to build water treatment systems. The ideal candidate is organized, technically skilled, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Factory & Inventory Management
✔️ Organize and maintain inventory of materials, tools, and equipment
✔️ Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality
✔️ Track stock levels and coordinate reordering of supplies
✔️ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the factory and production areas
✔️ Implement and maintain inventory tracking systems
Fabrication & Assembly Support
✔️ Read and interpret fabrication drawings to prepare system components accurately
✔️ Assemble water treatment systems following precise engineering specifications
✔️ Perform plumbing tasks, including pipe cutting, fitting, and sealing
✔️ Conduct mechanical assembly, including cutting, fastening, and drilling system components
✔️ Operate and maintain power tools (miter saws, band saws, circular saws, pipe threading tools)
✔️ Perform quality checks to ensure systems meet company standards
✔️ Work closely with engineers and production staff to optimize assembly processes
General Operations & Safety
✔️ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices
✔️ Track and document project progress using both paper and digital systems
✔️ Assist in packaging and shipping of finished products to clients
✔️ Support ongoing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Qualifications & Skills:
✅ Must have prior experience in plumbing and mechanical assembly
✅ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication schematics
✅ Experience with pipework (PVC, steel, or other materials), fittings, and mechanical components
✅ Skilled in using power tools and measuring instruments
✅ Strong organization and problem-solving skills
✅ Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment
✅ Basic computer skills for inventory tracking, documentation, and communication
✅ Knowledge of workplace safety procedures (OSHA guidelines preferred)
✅ Forklift certification is a plus
