What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Member Service Rep - Titles position at Revity Credit Union?
ROLE:
Preserve the Credit Union’s assets by assisting the Member Solutions Manager and the Assistant Member Solutions Manager in all Title and Insurance related duties as assigned.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lien Perfection Correspondence: Calls and letters to members, ELS and titling states regarding loans without titles.
- Receipt of Title: Process incoming mailed titles. Review for accuracy, address errors, log loan comments, collection notes, scan and file titles in vault.
- ELS processing for Refi Loans and Review prepped title work for accuracy, follow up with MSR’s for any corrections and process documentation. Forward to ELS for lien perfection and tracking.
- Resolution: Corresponds with the state and members for resolving any title issues and errors.
- Title Release: Review Paid Loan Report, release titles per MSD guidelines.
- Cross Train for the Insurance SMSR and provide backup when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Bank Secrecy Act:
Remains cognizant of and adheres to Revity Credit Union policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Required to have knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and of the credit union’s BSA policy and procedures
- Able to operate a 10-key calculator, keyboarding skills, and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, particularly Excel.
- Excellent member service and positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Occasional overtime when needed.
