What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Spa Front Desk Receptionist position at Revive Health Center & Spa?
The Front Desk Receptionist's responsibilities include greeting all clients, answering phone calls, assisting clients with questions regarding services and products, booking all appointments, checking the client into the computer system and charging for services performed.
Part-time position consisting of 20-30 hours per week. Very generous employee perks including discounted spa services, retail products and complimentary chiropractic care.
Starting pay is $14 per hour. Includes training and opportunities for increased pay and bonus pay.
Shifts: Mondays 9:30 am-2pm, Wednesday 9:30am-7pm, Thursdays 9:30am-7pm, Friday 9:30am-6pm and 2-3 Saturdays per month. Off Sundays & Tuesdays.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be on time for shift and maintain consistent, regular attendance record.
- Properly open and close each day according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Accurately book, change and cancel appointments.
- Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and departs business.
- Ensure that the check-in, check-out and payment process is handled in accordance with company policy.
- Utilize computers with skill and proficiency; document guest information in electronic record as directed.
- Familiarity with booking software.
- Answer phone promptly and use the guest’s name throughout the phone conversation; operate phone system accurately and efficiently.
- Actively promote the business, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
- Maintain eye contact when addressing external and internal clients; develop professional and personalized relationship with regular clients.
- Handle client questions and concerns promptly, professionally and courteously.
- Maintain complete confidentiality in all client matters in accordance with company policy.
- Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by clients, ensuring complete client satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean; safe, fully stocked and well organized work area.
- Ensure adequate stock of supplies and equipment; inform management when stock is low.
- Must be able to work without constant direct supervision.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
- Attend and participate in training and staff meetings.
- Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
- Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or clients that require attention.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Front Desk personnel or as a Customer Service representative with sales experience a plus.
