Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in food service management. As the Café Manager, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring high-quality food production, and managing staff effectively to deliver exceptional customer service.

Duties

• Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service.
• Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
• Oversee food production processes to ensure quality and compliance with health regulations.
• Train, interview, and develop café staff to enhance their skills in hospitality and food handling.
• Implement effective POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
• Coordinate catering services and banquet events as needed.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
• Monitor customer feedback to continuously improve service quality and menu offerings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar role within the food service industry.
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
• Experience with inventory control systems and food production processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Familiarity with POS systems is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.83 - $25.29 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
