Revolution Brewing is excited to hire additional part-time front of house Crew for our Brewpub as we jump into summer in Chicago! Our FOH Crew works all roles in their assigned section with our updated menu and style of service - you'll serve and pull beers for your section while running food and bussing tables for any table you pass. We work together to give great customer service across the floor, whether you're assigned a host, bar, or server shift. As a result, we have pooled tips that are paid out on your bi-weekly checks (so you wont be walking out the door with cash tips at the end of your shift). Tipped rate starts at $11.02/hour, untipped at $16.20/hour.
You're going to be knowledgeable about craft beer, have an active interest in learning more, and genuinely enjoy discussing beer with others. Folks are looking to come in and try Revs tasty beers safely and learn about new products they may not see in their local grocery store, and we're looking to do that in the friendliest atmosphere for our guests. Key skills for working at the Brewpub will be organization and cleanliness, in order to keep tabs/seats organized and stations clean & presentable. While at the host stand you'll be expected to answer phones, manage pickup and delivery orders, and manage merch sales.
This is a part-time, weekend role for 16-24 hours for Friday-Sunday, with Saturdays required. The Logan Square Brewpub is located at 2323 N Milwaukee Avenue, off the California blue line stop and bus stops for the 56 Milwaukee, 82 California, and 74 Fullerton bus lines.
Qualifications
- Must be over 21 years of age - no exceptions.
- 1 year of Revolution experience or 2 years outside restaurant experience.
- Able to communicate with and understand customer requests.
- Experience using restaurant POS systems is a plus, particularly Toast tab.
- Able to lift or maneuver at least 50 lbs during your shift.
- Able to move constantly across a restaurant for 6-9 hours for a shift.
- Food Handlers Sanitation Certificate, Certified Cicerone Beer Server, and Basset Certification are required once hired - if you already have any of these certifications please list on your resume. Otherwise you will be required to obtain these certifications upon starting.
Salary : $11 - $16
