Driving Instructor (Own Car Required)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to educating students on safe driving practices. This role involves both classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training, ensuring that students develop the necessary skills and knowledge to become responsible drivers.

You must have :

• A valid driving instructor certification/license.
• Your own insured and well-maintained vehicle (dual controls preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude.
• Commitment to safety and excellence in teaching.

Duties

• Educate students on traffic laws, safe driving techniques, and defensive driving strategies.
• Conduct classroom sessions that cover theoretical aspects of driving, including road signs, rules of the road, and vehicle operation.
• Provide hands-on driving instruction in various conditions to enhance students' practical skills.
• Communicate clearly with students to assess their understanding and address any questions or concerns.
• Evaluate student performance during both classroom and practical sessions, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Skills

• Strong ability to educate diverse groups of students effectively.
• Experience working with students in an educational setting, particularly in adult education or similar environments.
• Proficient in classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly and effectively.
• Ability to drive safely and teach others how to operate vehicles responsibly under various conditions.
