What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driving Instructor position at Revolution Driving School?
Revolution Driving School is a well-established business with an excellent reputation. We have locations in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn.
We are currently looking for friendly and patient Driving Instructors for ALL LOCATIONS.
This is an independent contractor job (1099 form)
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 5-day work schedule (10hr work shifts; 1 hr lunch break). Weekends are a must!
Yearly performance and salary review.
Growth opportunities, bonuses, and incentives for the right candidates!
Salary: $21.00 per hour. (will increase depending on your performance)
You pay for your own gas, responsible for any tolls and parking tickets given to the company vehicle under your possession.
Training is done by experienced and certified driving instructors, paid at $16.50 per hour.
Applicants that are certified driving instructors will get $23.00 per hour (after 3 month evaluation period)
IMPORTANT:
Before applying to this position please check the DMV's requirements to get certified as a driving instructor. You will be required to take a written exam and a road test with the DMV to get certified.

- Hard-worker who can work long hours
- Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
- Experience: Driving: 5 years (Required)
- License/Certification: Driver's License (Required); Clean driving record
