Core Responsibilities And Standards

• Maintain professional competencies, staying current on changes in tax laws and regulations.
  
  

Client Service and Relationship Management

• Attract and convert prospects into clients by understanding their needs and goals.
• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients.
• Participate in client reviews, offering customized, forward-looking advice and addressing ongoing needs.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and recommend wealth modeling strategies and tax mitigation opportunities.
  
  

Tax Compliance and Strategic Planning

• Prepare individual and business tax returns with accuracy and compliance.
• Review and manage tax filings, ensuring adherence to current laws and regulations.
• Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to optimize client outcomes.
• Research and interpret complex tax regulations to identify innovative opportunities for clients.
  
  

Leadership, Education, and Entrepreneurship

• Collaborate with the CEO/Founder and COO on implementing new ideas and initiatives.
• Take a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to build and grow the tax division, contributing to the firm’s long-term vision.
• Lead Continuing Education (CE) training for CPAs and attorneys, sharing creative tax planning strategies.
• Present at firm learning events to educate clients and partners.
• Mentor and train team members to enhance skills and improve processes.
  
  

Marketing and Business Development

• Participate in the design and execution of key marketing initiatives and activities.
  
  

Other Duties

• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation (preferred).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and growing new initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
