Summer Intern, Translational Research

Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit high-value frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company's R&D pipeline comprises preclinical and clinical stage RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new summer intern member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding scientists in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Opportunity

As a member of the Translational Research team within the Biology Department, you will:

• Contribute to cutting edge translational research with unique RAS pathway inhibitors.
• Collaborate with various teams to centralize PKPD data, ensuring easy access and visualization.
• Understand key parameters from PKPD studies and establish a comprehensive PKPD database.
• Develop data visualizations and tools, such as dashboards, to enhance data accessibility.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to generate data output tables to facilitate downstream data analysis and PKPD modeling.
• Assist in creating data templates and workflow processes to streamline data centralization and analysis.
• Maintain documentation for data ingestion, processing, and analysis methods.
  
  

As a member of RVMD Research team you will have opportunity to collaborate extensively with biologists, chemists, pharmacologists, DMPK and data scientists to generate novel insights into key drivers of RAS-addicted cancers and receive hands-on training in various techniques commonly used in preclinical pharmacology studies.

Required Experience, Skills, And Education

• Current biosciences, biochemistry, computer science or pharmacology undergraduate or graduate student with applicable experience within a scientific or laboratory environment.
• Experience with graphing/statistical tools such as GraphPad prism, Python, or R.
• Detail-oriented with excellent record keeping and organizational skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning new techniques and applying them to benefit cancer patients.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PKPD data, data visualization tools and database management are a plus.
  
  

The base salary range for this full-time position is $32.75 to $35.00 for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. The range displayed on each job posting is intended to be the salary for an individual working onsite in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market a candidate is based in. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.
