Position Summary
We are looking for a Ph.D. candidate or recent Ph.D. graduate with strong background in cardiovascular electrophysiology, biological signal processing, and data analytics. By leveraging data collected by Samsung consumer wearable devices, the candidate will be able to assess and develop algorithm solutions to tackle the early detection of cardiovascular rhythm disorders.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work with innovative R&D team to assess and develop impactful health products
- Triage and organize large clinical databases for future algorithm development and validation efforts
Required Skills:
- PhD candidate or recent graduate in a relevant Science or Engineering field, such as Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science
- Strong background in biological signal processing, cardiovascular electrophysiology, data analytics, and visualization. Prior experience with wearable technology is preferred
- Ability to use a data analysis tool or programming language such as MATLAB, R, or Python
- Working understanding of statistics
- Good verbal and written communication skills and team work
