Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented nCino Test Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of nCino implementations. This role requires a deep understanding of nCino or Salesforce environments, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Key Responsibilities:Test Planning and Strategy:
Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for nCino solutions.
Define testing strategies and methodologies to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Identify and prioritize test scenarios based on business requirements and risk assessments.
- Test Execution:
Perform functional, integration, and regression testing on nCino applications.
Execute manual and automated tests to validate system functionality and performance.
Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools (e.g., ADO).
- Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings to provide updates on testing progress and issues.
Communicate test results and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all test activities are conducted in accordance with established standards and best practices.
Validate system integrations and workflows within Salesforce and nCino.
Assist in automation testing initiatives, as applicable.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
Generate test reports and metrics to track testing progress and quality.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in QA testing, with a focus on nCino or Salesforce platforms.
- Strong understanding of banking and lending processes preferred.
- Proficient in testing tools like ADO, or similar.
- Ability to work in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Certification in nCino or Salesforce.
