Vice President of Marketing Communications

VP, Marcom) to join our growing global sports marketing agency. Reporting to the Head of Account Management, you will lead the strategic development and execution of integrated marketing and communications campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and business results for our clients in the sports industry.

You Will :

Leadership and Strategy :

Lead a team of marketing and communication professionals, providing direction and oversight across all MARCOM activities, including integrated PR, influencer marketing, social, and content creation.Develop and execute innovative marketing communications strategies that align with client objectives and support broader agency goals.Partner across multiple segments including A&I, media, creative & strategy, account management, business development, and global counterparts to build full scale client solutions

PR and Business Growth :

Leverage PR strategies to expand the agency's presence and influence within the sports marketing industry, positioning rEvolution as a leader in this space.Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through integrated and PR-focused client acquisition, actively contributing to the agency's growth.Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, media outlets, and other external partners to strengthen the agency's and clients' market presence and thought leadership.

Innovation and Execution :

Drive the creation of campaigns that resonate with target audiences, resulting in measurable outcomes for clients and business growth for rEvolution.Stay ahead of industry trends and competitors' activities, using insights to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.

Operational Excellence :

Oversee budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet strategic objectives.Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence.

You Have :

10 years of experience in marketing communications, including a proven track record of success in senior leadership roles.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.Demonstrated expertise in crafting and executing PR-driven MARCOM strategies and brand-building stories that support business development and client success.Exceptional ability to cultivate relationships with clients, media, and industry stakeholders, translating them into business growth opportunities.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a high-performing team.Comprehensive understanding of sports landscape including digital marketing and PR trends, including emerging technologies, data and analytics and platforms.Proven experience managing budgets and demonstrating ROI on marketing initiatives.

This hybrid role is based in our fabulous Chicago office but has a global reach.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $150,000 - $175,000 and includes an annual bonus potential of 17.5%.
