What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Strategic Growth, OMICS Services position at Revvity?
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement sales strategy to grow Revvity OMICS’s business in targeted areas (Country/Regional population health initiatives, health systems, children’s hospitals, regional laboratories, research and other B2B opportunities)
- Identify prospects and closing opportunities with the aim of securing a significant foothold for the business unit’s range of genOMICS testing services within targeted customer segments and meet revenue targets
- Take ownership of new and existing account and partner cross-functionally to appropriately address the needs of customers
- Develop and maintain strong customer connections at various levels in customer’s organization
- Delivery of presentations on Revvity OMICS’s products and services
- Demonstrate command of scientific knowledge to engage in high-level collaborative, multi-faceted sales process
- Aiding in management of business analytics and forecasting for monthly, quarterly, yearly, and long-term goals
- Effectively communicate insights and data findings to influence decision-making, and drive action to achieve business results
- Cross functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, Billing, and Sales in management of RFPs, LSAs, billing reports, invoices
- Work with internal stakeholders at each global site to establish best practices and SOPs related to commercial operations
- Engage with the Marketing and Sales team to execute on Sales meetings planning, content, and launch excellence
- Other duties as assigned
- Min Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 8 years of experience in sales within targeted customer segments and test specialty area
- Successful negotiation skills and ability to operate in a team
- Proven interpersonal and customer-facing skills with ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Excellent written/oral communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Proven track record of strong problem-solving skills and cross-functional collaboration to develop as well as execute plans to drive business results
