Egg Processing

Rexing Companies is expanding, and we’re looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented Egg Processing Employee to join our growing team! If you thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining quality standards, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What You'll Do:

• Load and unload eggs from cleaning machines
• Organize eggs into cartons, flats, and boxes for distribution
• Stack processed cases properly for transport to the cooler
• Ensure all cases coming off the grader are sealed and labeled correctly
• Monitor and maintain the tape machine to ensure proper sealing
• Bring up cartons from the carton room and restock throughout the day
• Maintain accurate inventory of rejects
• Properly dispose of trash and cardboard at the end of each shift
• Assist packers or candlers as needed
• Stack and move egg cases, racks, and skids safely and efficiently
• Clean the grader machine and related components
• Clean the egg candling area
• Clean scales, re-wash belts, floors, pans, buckets, etc.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the supervisor

Essential Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Physical ability to perform job functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform repetitive movements
• Commitment to strict animal welfare and biosecurity standards
• Avaliblity for days and weekends (56-hour work week)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 56 per week
