Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanic A to join our team at the Reyes Coca Cola Bottling facility in Caledonia, MI. This full-time position involves repairing and maintaining trailer/tractor equipment.
Shift: 10:00PM-6:30AM - Monday - Friday
Pay: $31.50/Hour 0.20 Shift Differential = $31.70/Hour
Job Description
- The Fleet Diesel Mechanic A is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment.
- As a Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online AssetWorks system.
- You will operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls.
- Ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed 'roadworthy'.
- Install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and/or cameras (DriveCam).
- Work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 plus years of related experience.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds.
- Must have a valid Driver's License to operate applicable company vehicles.
- Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement).
