Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Fleet Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our Reyes Coca Cola Bottling facility in Caledonia, MI. As a member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on fleet diesel equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify root causes of basic failures and perform necessary repairs.
- Document all work orders and maintenance activities for accurate record-keeping.
- Inspect brake systems to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Lift 50 pounds frequently and occasionally lift 100 pounds as required by the job.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in related field.
- Valid Driver's License to operate company vehicles.
- Ability to possess own tools meeting minimum requirements.
