Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Diesel Technician B to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures and making necessary repairs.
- Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Inspect brake systems to ensure that machines are in proper operating condition and verify required licensing and registration.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication of equipment and machinery.
- Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 years of related experience.
- Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds.
- Valid Driver's License to operate company vehicles.
- Must possess own tools with minimum tool requirement.
