What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Coordinator position at Reynolds Lake Oconee?
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with Club members “oral and written” regarding inquiries with member accounts
- Research and correct any transaction made in error; pull tickets to return to Point of Sale for correction and/or make back-office correction
- Provide Club members with Website, APP, and EFT Payment support
- Daily upload of member charges from The Ritz Carlton and Short-Term Rental software systems
- Daily transfer of Lockbox deposits from the Lockbox file to member accounts in Jonas
- Prepare and record membership check payments
- Pro-rate new and terminated member dues
- Organize and maintain daily work
- Ensure that all End of Day functions are properly closed at all retail locations of the Company
- Close Jonas month-end processes and run accounts receivable reports on all Companies, ensuring that monthly member charges and payments are posted properly
- Other duties and functions as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements/Experience/Education:
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact well with others
- Positive attitude
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- 3 to 4 years related accounting experience
