The Reynolds School District is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Special Education Supervisor. Key qualifications include knowledge of federal and state regulations, strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PA Special Education Supervisor certificate.
- At least five years instructional/supervisory experience in public education.
- Other certifications such as K-12 Administration with Special Education leadership may be accepted.
Essential Duties:
- Experience in IEPs, 504 agreements, GIEPs, manifestation determinations, paraprofessional training, and Federal Programs administrative duties.
- Assist the Instructional Leadership Team in curriculum development and implementation.
- Support instructional staff in areas such as data analysis, standards/eligible content coaching and alignment, and coordination of professional development.
Requirements:
- Twelve month full time position under the Act 93 Plan.
- Send letter of interest, resume, standard PA application, copy of certification(s), clearances, transcripts, and three letters of recommendation to the Central Administrative Offices.
