Job Description
Evaluate and assess student language abilities, utilizing culturally sensitive tools to identify needs and progress. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine individualized support plans.
- Schedule and facilitate Evaluation Team Review (ETR) meetings for initial assessments and re-evaluations
- Analyze and document student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
- Determine evidence-based interventions based on assessment results
- Work closely with general education and special education staff to develop and implement targeted learning strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement instructional activities aligned with established curriculum standards
- Maintain knowledge of special education principles and strategies, including augmentative and alternative communication methods
- Prepare comprehensive reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and cooperation
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
- State licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Endorsements as required by state regulations
Salary Information:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
