Key Responsibilities :
Manage and oversee heavy civil construction projects, including highway, bridge, and roadway improvements
Coordinate and supervise nightly closures, traffic control, and work zone safety
Ensure all work complies with TXDOT specifications and safety standards
Lead and direct field crews, subcontractors, and project schedules
Monitor progress, productivity, and quality to meet project deadlines
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and inspectors for seamless execution
Requirements :
Proven experience as a Heavy Civil Superintendent in highway or roadway construction
Strong knowledge of TXDOT regulations, standards, and processes
Experience managing nightly lane closures and traffic control
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and schedules
Strong leadership and communication skills
Safety-focused mindset with a commitment to quality work
