Job description:  Expert Senior Estimator/Project Manager - Civil Construction Leadership

Are you an industry-leading Senior Estimator/Project Manager seeking a career-defining opportunity? RFB Construction Co, Inc, is seeking an exceptional professional to lead our most critical projects and drive our strategic growth.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee high-profile, complex civil construction projects from inception to completion.
• Play a key role in shaping the company's strategic direction and expansion.
• Collaborate with a team of highly skilled professionals dedicated to excellence and innovation.

• Develop and oversee the creation of highly accurate and detailed cost estimates for complex civil construction projects.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of project specifications, plans, and bid documents.
• Lead the development and presentation of compelling bid proposals.

• Project Leadership & Execution:
  • Provide expert leadership and management for all phases of assigned projects.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Direct and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.
  • Maintain exceptional communication with clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Strategic Development:
  • Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans and business development initiatives.
  • Identify and evaluate potential project opportunities and market trends.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred, but not required.   

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil highway construction estimation and project management.  
• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex civil construction projects.
• Advanced knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations.
• Mastery of estimating software and project management tools.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and solve critical problems.
• Strong understanding of financial management and contract administration.
• Valid professional engineering license is a strong plus.
