What are the responsibilities and job description for the Raw Material Sampler position at RFI LLC?
Job Description
We are looking for someone to join our warehouse department as a Raw Material Sampler! The kind of person we're looking for this role will need to fill these responsibilities:
Report daily to the Shipping & Receiving Manager
-Perform routine activities:
Ensure that incoming items and quantities match the packaging list and that all needed documentation is present
Attach bar code labels to all containers received
Take retain samples of all products received from suppliers and coordinate delivery to Quality Lab Technicians, including packaging.
Follow strict cleanliness guidelines to prevent cross contamination by microbial contaminants and allergens
Take samples of products requested through Sample Requests:
>Customer Service for pre-ship samples
>FRI Internal Department samples; such as Labs and R&D
> Breakdown product packages into smaller quantities requested by customers through Customer Service Confirmation of Order Report
>Return samples to location documented by the Shipping & Receiving Verifier or anyone else providing a Sample Request
-Other tasks assigned by Shipping & Receiving supervisor
