Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous inspection and testing processes. This position requires a strong understanding of quality management systems and the ability to utilize various inspection tools and techniques.

Duties

  • Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Utilize tools such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines to perform precise measurements.
  • Implement and maintain quality management systems to enhance product reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze data collected from quality inspections and research data collection efforts to identify trends and areas for corrective action.
  • Operate vision inspection systems to detect defects or inconsistencies in products.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality findings, including recommendations for improvements.
  • Train staff on quality control procedures and best practices.

Experience

  • Proven experience in quality assurance or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Calypso software for measurement analysis is a plus.
  • Experience with various quality inspection techniques, including vision inspection systems and traditional measurement tools such as calipers.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and standards relevant to the manufacturing industry is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey findings clearly to team members and management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.88 - $32.05 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
