About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team as a Design Coordinator. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Project Engineering Teams in the USA and our offshore delivery team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Coordinating between different Project Engineering teams in the USA and offshore delivery teams.
- Resource Management: Ensuring that the offshore team has everything they need to perform their tasks efficiently.
- Communication: Serving as the primary point of contact between the onsite team and offshore team, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Quality Control: Monitoring the quality of work performed by the team, getting feedback from Project Engineering teams in the USA and ensuring that the offshore team follows all quality standards.
- Issue Resolution: Identifying and resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in heavy material handling systems.
- Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor Cad tool & Vault PDM, experience in Weldment design, GD&T & electrical routing, good knowledge in Design calculations & FEA (fundamentals), minimum Master degree in mechanical engineering.
