RGL LOGISITICS, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our innovative sales team. This role is ideal for a self-driven, seasoned transportation sales professional who enjoys directly engaging with customers and driving new business. This role features an attractive base salary plus a performance-based incentive structure.
THE SALES EXECUTIVE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Prospecting a sales territory through daily researching of organizations, markets, and industries to identify, penetrate, and close new business
- Effective management of cold call, warm lead, and face to face sales activity to achieve sales objectives aligned with the organizational goals
- Presents solutions designed to meet the needs of the customer in concert with the business goals of RGL
- Through professional communication and a compelling personality, maintain engagement with existing customers to grow healthy business relationships
- Develops and presents customer quotes, proposals, and business reviews
- Provide market and industry insight to customers through continuous awareness of market and industry trends
- Manage all sales activities and opportunities in a customer relationship management (CRM) system
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING COMPETENCIES
- Proven outside sales and negotiation skills.
- Must have entrepreneurial spirit.
- 5 years direct transportation/logistics selling experience required
- An associate of bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Available and responsive to customers' needs
- Strong computer skills with ability to navigate social media sites.
Travel Requirements
You will manage a productive daily sales workflow that could require up to 10% travel In addition to quarterly travel to our facilities in Wisconsin if not based out of the state.
