What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Director position at RGP?
We are seeking an interim Sr. Director of Corporate HR to lead a North American and Asia Pacific HR Business partner team as well as Corporate HR Operations. In this role you will leverage your experience in human resource management to partner with business unit and functional team leaders to execute HR strategy. What you will work on HR Leadership:
- Work closely with key leaders to implement people strategies focused on business priorities.
- Provide coaching to managers and employees consistent with policies/practices, legal considerations, etc. and facilitate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Use sound HR knowledge and provide hands-on execution to assigned client groups in the areas of workforce planning, change management, employee retention, and employee relations.
- Demonstrated track record of success in delivering results, navigating across a large-scale, fast-paced and highly acquisitive enterprise.
- Roll out and drive corporate programs (policies, talent management, succession planning, employee engagement).
- Provide standard and ad-hoc reporting and analyses as needed to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Provide due-diligence and project management support to the Senior Leadership Team and Corporate Development Team prior to close.
- Will work closely with senior leaders, acquired company management, and internal cross-functional teams to coordinate the creation, implementation, and execution of integration plans.
- Will manage significant change management initiatives as part of post-acquisition integrations
- As a member of the HR Leadership Team, be a visible, accessible individual who is sought out by others by providing thoughtful and useful advice on HR business needs.
- Motivate and develop a high-caliber HR Business Partner Team across multiple business units, including recruiting strong talent and building a strong bench of HR technologists.
- Manage, strengthen, and expand relationships with internal partners
- Manage a geographically disperse organization.
- Employ effective project management proficiencies to ensure that projects and roadmaps are completed in a timely fashion while meeting expected deadlines.
- Extensive knowledge of HR practices and employment law
- Must have executive presence - comfortable engaging with C-suite and executive team members
- Ability to work as a self-starter and work independently
- Strong leadership capacity in team building and interpersonal leadership skills
- Compelling communicator and articulate speaker and trainer
- Strong leadership skills in coaching and developing
- Experience in a highly acquisitive work environment
- BS degree in Business, HR Management or related field strongly recommended.
- HR certification (HRCI, SHRM) a plus.
- 8 years progressive Human Resources experience.
- Expert at applying and using technology (i.e. strong HCM administration and strong Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with Workday and Dayforce is a plus.
- Understands applicable Federal and State employment laws.
- Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.
