As a Senior Accountant at RGP, you will be essential in ensuring our client’s financial operations run smoothly. You will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, preparing and posting journal entries, and performing account reconciliations. Your expertise will help identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.What you will work on
- Manage and execute the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain detailed documentation and support for all journal entries.
- Review and analyze account balances, making necessary adjustments as needed.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform account reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved.
- Investigate and resolve any variances or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to lead month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
- Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.
