Job Duties:
Duties of the Accounting Associate: Duties will include preparing, compiling, and reviewing financial information in QuickBooks, accounts payable, accounts receivable, processing payroll, completing sales tax returns, maintaining financial records, data entry for multiple companies, assisting with expense reports, detailed spreadsheet work and organization assistance for all departments within the company.
To be successful in this role, you should have knowledge of QuickBooks, be extremely organized, have great time management skills, have a firm grasp of basic accounting principles and be able to act without guidance in a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Data entry and bank/credit card reconciliation in QuickBooks for bookkeeping purposes in hopes of generating weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports for CEO
- Invoicing within QuickBooks on a weekly basis
- Understanding how to compile and review financial information to ensure reports are correct prior to submitting to CEO.
- Assisting with preparation of budgets and financial statements
- Ability to work closely with auditor on an annual basis
- Knowledge in accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll processing
- File sales tax monthly
- Maintaining records and filing systems for all departments within the company
- Answering phones and professional correspondence with franchise owners
- Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
- Seasonal event work may be required during office hours
- Onboarding of new employees
- Performing other duties as required
Required Skills:
Must be available to work Monday-Friday from 8:00-4:30pm in our Conway, AR Corporate office
- Excellent MS Office knowledge
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Knowledge in QuickBooks
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure is a must
- Familiarity with office technology and applications (e.g. e-calendars, scanning and copy machines)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Discretion and confidentiality
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar is preferred.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
