Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated Phlebotomists to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing venipuncture procedures and explaining processes to patients while maintaining accurate documentation of test results. Successful candidates will collaborate with healthcare professionals to meet patient needs and may need to cover various locations around the metroplex as required.
Responsibilities:
- Collect specimens via venipuncture or syringe.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot necessary equipment.
- Maintain accurate records for all specimens.
- Process in-house and send out specimens.
- Utilize computer skills to order labs efficiently.
- Assist patients in feeling relaxed during procedures.
- Adapt to workplace challenges and patient needs.
- Manage stressful situations with professionalism and compassion.
