Job Description
We have an immediate need for a full-time Medical Practice Manager to lead our team and grow our practice in a competitive environment. This role will need to be a self-motivated, multi-tasker, good listening skills and quick learner who can navigate the fast-paced medical office environment. The ideal candidate must be energetic with the versatility to manage multiple projects since they will be involved with many aspects of the daily operations of the practice. Being technologically adept and detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping skills is also paramount. As the healthcare landscape continues to evolve over time, a successful individual in this role is one who displays an intellectual curiosity and commitment to taking on new challenges. This role is perfect for those looking to gain experience in a managerial position within the healthcare field.
Job responsibilities
- Contracting and credentialing the providers with the various payers/insurance companies.
- Inventory management and budgetary oversight.
- Workflow optimization and strategic decision-making.
- Clinical oversight of Medical Assistants with regular evaluations.
- Facilities, physical plant, and equipment management and procurement.
- Liaison to our pharmaceutical companies, industry partners, vendors, GPOs, PHOs, ACOs.
- Will act as the compliance, security, and safety officer.
- Recruitment and onboarding of staff.
- Conflict resolution management among patients and staff.
- Concentrate on the needs of the provider(s).
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements/Preferences
- Typing Skills – must be able to type accurately at 45 wpm
- Computer Competency – skilled at operating computers and troubleshooting when necessary
- Familiarity with the medical field, preferentially with rheumatology
- Ability to work in a progressive, team-oriented environment
- Ability to problem solve in stressful situations pertaining to patient care
- Experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate

- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with provider(s), staff, management, and our various affiliates and vendors.

General Educational Requirements
- High School diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors or higher degree preferred.
- ACMPE certification from MGMA preferred
- CRhC, CMPM, and/or CRMS certification from NORM preferred
- Degrees in the Sciences and Pre-health track preferred

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
