Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, contributing to the assembly and fabrication of products while ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
- Quality and on-time delivery.
- Performs functions such as masking, de-masking, and paint touch-up, loading parts on the paint lines, and removing and packing finished parts from the paint lines.
- Performs functions in the Assembly Department and Chromate Line
- Occasionally operates stationary or moving overhead hoists.
- Maintains general housekeeping within all areas of the Finishing facility including production areas, warehouse/storage areas, and waste disposal areas.
- Wears proper safety equipment
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have the ability to learn all basic quality aspects of the operation in several areas of the plant.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Problem solving and multi-tasking abilities.
- Basic math.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work against and meet deadlines.
- Must be willing to work overtime as required to meet customer demands.
- Physical Movement: Standing, sitting, bending, stooping, reaching, and occasionally climbing steps or ladders.Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for eight or more hours. Using hands and fingers to manipulate small tools such as paint
- Experience working in a factory or manufacturing facility is preferred.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and equipment relevant to assembly and fabrication tasks.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to assist with troubleshooting equipment as needed.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management and material handling.
- Ability to work effectively on an assembly line while maintaining focus on quality control.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
