Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Technician to join our team. The Quality Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position involves conducting quality inspections, performing audits, and utilizing precision measuring instruments to assess product specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality assurance processes and FDA regulations, along with experience in data collection and analysis.
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
- Knowledgeable of the operational requirements of the ISO-9001:2015 Quality System.
- Basic knowledge of fundamental statistics related to quality laboratory requirements.
- Fundamental knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques and chemical nomenclature.
- Understanding of common units of data reporting.
- Good communication skills.
- Work well with others / Team oriented.
- Laboratory experience to support operational needs.
- Experience with gage and measurement system calibration.
- High School Graduate Required – Additional Formal Training Preferred.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to plan, organize, prioritize daily responsibilities and to adapt to changes in scheduling.
· Detailed, analytical, and possess the ability to evaluate the accuracy and reasonability of process test results.
· Confirmation of analytical results based on known process control requirements.
· Continuous inspection of customer products during all production processes.
· Hourly inspection of customer product on liquid and powder lines.
· First piece inspection of all customer product.
· Receiving inspection of customer product.
· Final audit of ready to ship material and paperwork.
· Perform all necessary testing and accompanying documentation as required & ability to follow Standard operating procedures (SOP) for process testing.
· Water break test on raw parts.
· Film thickness/Adhesion.
· E-Coat Cure.
· Monitor and enforce that all processing documentation is followed and properly filled out.
· Traveling Process Information Sheet checks at the end and beginning of each shift, also periodic checks to be done daily.
· Ensure all customer products are labeled.
· Complete verification logs daily.
· Maintain all quality areas, including laboratory.
