Clarus Adventure is home to some of the most respected brands in the outdoor and overlanding space—Rhino-Rack, RockyMounts, MAXTRAX, and TRED. From roof racks to recovery gear, we support adventurers across the globe with innovative, rugged gear designed to get them further off the beaten path.
We’re looking for a Social and Community Coordinator to help amplify our voice, strengthen our brand communities, and support organic growth through consistent, strategic engagement—primarily across Rhino-Rack and RockyMounts, with light involvement on MAXTRAX.
This part-time position is perfect for career professionals looking to break into the outdoor or automotive industry where they can grow and develop your skills. The role is remote-friendly and offers exposure to multiple well-established brands with strong followings. You’ll work closely with marketing leadership to manage social presence, engage authentically with our community, and stay on the pulse of relevant conversations online.
In this role, you will
- Manage and maintain posting schedules across Facebook and Instagram via Meta Business Suite (some activity on LinkedIn and YouTube as needed).
- Monitor social activity on and off owned channels (tags, mentions, likes, shares) and engage where appropriate.
- Identify and maintain a presence in Tier 1 online forums (to be selected collaboratively), participating in discussions and representing brand voice.
- Identify relevant Facebook groups and engage consistently to build community awareness.
- Provide periodic reporting on social activity, trends, wins, and opportunities
- Collaborate with leadership to explore new channels (e.g., TikTok, Threads) and advise on potential expansion.
- Propose new engagement ideas (giveaways, polls, cross-promotions, etc.) to enhance current channel performance.
- Curate and source user-generated content from the community, working with the internal team to ensure brand alignment

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in social media content and a passion for the outdoor, overlanding, and/or automotive space
- A strong understanding of core social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube)
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable representing a brand voice in public-facing conversations.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite or similar scheduling tools is a plus.
- Passion for the outdoor, overlanding, or automotive space is highly valued.
Bonus If You Have
- Exposure to business-end functionality of these tools.
- Experience working with or managing online communities or Facebook groups.
- Exposure to UGC sourcing or community-driven content campaigns.
- Understanding of digital brand voice, tone, and storytelling best practices.
