Position Overview
Enrollment Management at Rhode Island College is made up of the Offices of Admissions Outreach and Recruitment, the Admission Campus Visit Experience, Financial Aid, and Registrar. In collaboration, these areas work cohesively to recruit, enroll, and retain the College’s undergraduate student populations. The Enrollment Management CRM Specialist will develop, execute, and analyze communication campaigns to support the College’s enrollment goals. In addition, they will assist with the implementation of marketing and communications strategies for print, web, email and SMS communication to support the College’s recruitment and retention efforts.

Primary Purpose
The Enrollment Management CRM Specialist will support a full range of enrollment activities including new-student recruitment, retention, on-and off-campus event programming, and enrollment services through the integration and execution of the College’s Customer Relationship Management system SLATE, as well as other enrollment technologies. The Enrollment Management CRM Specialist will serve as a SLATE Captain, guiding and assisting with delivering the ongoing implementation and project management of Technolutions SLATE CRM for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. , The Enrollment Management CRM Specialist will collaborate with enrollment services (admissions, financial aid, registrar, bursar, etc.) on the development, execution, and analysis of communication campaigns, and will assist with the implementation of messaging for print, web, email and SMS communication strategies to support recruitment, retention, registration, enrollment services and enrollment event programming. The position will assist with the development, and maintenance of the enrollment management communications calendar, as well as serve as a contributor to the college’s strategic enrollment management plan
Essential Duties
Guide and manage the ongoing implementation and project management of SLATE CRM, as well as other related enrollment technologies.
Assist with the creation and development of communication strategies for prospective students, and other audiences (families, school counselors, etc.) in SLATE CRM and other related enrollment technologies.
Collaborate on the creation, management and execution of electronic, SMS, digital, and print campaigns to support recruitment, retention and engagement.
Maintain enrollment services web content and make recommendations for updates.
Assist with writing and editing content for enrollment publications, as well as electronic communication campaigns.
Assist with creating and maintaining a strong social media presence for enrollment management.
Generate reporting and analysis to measure the effectiveness of all initiated marketing and communication campaigns.
Collaborate with team leaders, such as the (Associate Director of Admissions Marketing and Communications) and the (Director of Admissions Campus Visit Experience) to support the execution of lead outreach, inquiry engagement, application generation, conversion and yield messaging; and the associated setup and communication for enrollment events in SLATE.
Collaborate with other administrative offices, academic departments, committees and college personnel to effectively support student recruitment and enrollment – specifically Communications and Marketing and New Student Programs.
Develop a working knowledge and remain current on all College recruitment messages, facts, and policies.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Must have demonstrated experience working with SLATE CRM
Demonstrated project management experience.
Demonstrated experience developing and executing complex, integrated communication and marketing campaigns.
Must have demonstrated public relations skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required and candidates must demonstrate acute attention to detail, strong organization and problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility, dedication, initiative, confidentiality, and the ability to learn are expected.
Demonstrated ability to organize work assignments for timely completion.
Willingness to work non-standard hours, including some evenings and weekends.
Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state evenings and weekends.
Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver presentations before small, medium, and large groups, and demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups/populations.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree.
Demonstrated experience serving on a CRM project team (i.e., implementation, ongoing enhancements, customizations, etc.).
Demonstrated experience working with enrollment technologies and other marketing automation platforms.
Experience in a competitive admission setting or equivalent experience in a marketing role.
Demonstrated experience creating content and managing social media platforms.
Bilingual in English/Spanish (fluent in speaking and writing).
Environmental Conditions
